Praying Life Back into America!

The American Center for Prayer and Revival (ACPR) is a center designed for day-and-night prayer in Washington, D.C. The sole focus is to ask God for a spiritual revival across our country and among our nation’s leaders.

We chose the acronym ACPR partly because it includes the letters “CPR.” Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (or CPR) is a procedure to revive a heart that has ceased to beat. The American Church has always been the heartbeat of our nation, but that heartbeat is in need of revival if it is to continue its role of advancing the Gospel in our nation and around the world.

The ACPR hosts teams of intercessors who maintain 24/7 prayer focused on the re-awakening and re-evangelization of the United States. We hope to see a true, heaven-sent revival, much like the great awakenings led by Jonathan Edwards in the 1750s and Charles Finney in the 1850s.

Only a powerful movement of repentant prayer and engagement in God’s Word will bring America back to spiritual life again.

The ACPR is located directly across the street from the Supreme Court building and right next door to the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). This is a key location for praying over the Supreme Court, Congress and the executive staff of the United States and especially for decisions on religious freedom made by the Supreme Court.

The lower level unit has a unique entry with a grotto-type look where 24/7 prayer will soon rise day and night. This entrance will allow access any time for prayer.
